The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Colin Fotheringham and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Torres tries a head kick but it misses.
Torres throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A looping hook to the body misses from Torres. Johnson does a little dance to reset his feet.
Torres looks to throw the jab but Johnson is out of range.
Torres throws a combination that misses
and Johnson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Johnson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Torres sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Johnson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Torres's waist but Torres gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Johnson off to one side.

Torres rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Johnson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Torres throws a predictable looking body shot
and Johnson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Johnson ducks under a wild hook from Torres.
Torres throws a right and a left that Johnson avoids nicely.
Johnson shoots in looking for a takedown but Torres manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Johnson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Torres throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Johnson counters with a big head kick but Torres shrugs it off.
Torres throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Johnson scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Johnson is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Torres wants to get back to his feet.
Torres manages to get to full guard.
Torres wants to stand up but Johnson is controlling him.

Johnson passes Torres's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Johnson seems to be looking for submissions.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Torres looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Johnson is working for a submission of some sort.
Torres is looking for a sweep. Johnson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Johnson wants to work for an arm triangle but Torres is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Torres keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
Johnson is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Johnson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Torres doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Johnson.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Torres tries to roll over but Johnson keeps him under control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Danny Johnson will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Torres lands with an uppercut that bounces Johnson off the cage and back into rage.

Torres leaves Johnson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Torres drives through with a takedown into Johnson's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Johnson is trying to control the position but Torres postures up.

Torres working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Johnson's head.
Johnson is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Torres has his hands clasped together but Johnson extends an breaks Torres's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Johnson.
