Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paddy Murphy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maxym Dubovsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Murphy has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Paddy Murphy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Maxym Dubovsky! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Radbod Blank and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dubovsky circles away from the clinch attempt.
Dubovsky slaps away a takedown attempt from Murphy, before circling back to the center of the mat. Murphy is breathing heavily. Dubovsky dives in and scores a takedown into Murphy's guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Murphy preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Dubovsky is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Dubovsky must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Dubovsky trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Dubovsky pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Murphy is keeping the position for now. Dubovsky decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Dubovsky bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
It looks like Paddy Murphy has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A decent looking body kick lands there for Dubovsky. Dubovsky throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Murphy swats away the attempt to clinch by Dubovsky. Dubovsky lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
That's one minute gone in the round. Murphy displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Dubovsky. Dubovsky dives in and grabs Murphy's left leg, looking for a takedown. Murphy pushes down on Dubovsky's head and hops out. Murphy takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Dubovsky with a jab. Excellent takedown into side control there by Dubovsky. Murphy stops Dubovsky from passing to mount. Dubovsky in side control lands a decent elbow. Murphy wants to get back to his feet. Dubovsky wants to lay and pray for a moment but Murphy keeps working.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dubovsky creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Murphy sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Murphy is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Dubovsky seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Dubovsky thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Murphy's head. Murphy manages to get to full guard.
Dubovsky stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Murphy swivels though and keeps the full guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Murphy is on top in guard.
Murphy wants to control from the top but Dubovsky keeps moving. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Murphy won't allow Dubovsky to sweep him here. Dubovsky keeping full guard, as Murphy tries to pass. Dubovsky wants to sweep here but Murphy controlling him for the moment. Murphy trying to stand up but can't free himself from Dubovsky's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dubovsky is looking to stand up but Murphy isn't so interested in that idea.
We're going to have a standup here because Paddy Murphy wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Dubovsky thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Murphy if he has to take too many more of those.
Murphy shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Murphy postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Dubovsky to stand up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Maxym Dubovsky dominated that round. The cut man is working on Paddy Murphy's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Murphy connects with a body shot that sends Dubovsky's belly button to the back. Murphy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dubovsky tries to avoid it but Murphy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dubovsky to the ground. Dubovsky escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Dubovsky tries for a takedown but Murphy sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Dubovsky throws a head kick that Murphy semi-blocks.
Dubovsky lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
and Dubovsky counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Murphy! He's just covering up as Dubovsky starts to tee off till referee steps in and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Maxym Dubovsky!
