Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dave Herman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Friedrich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Dave Herman has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, David Schapiro and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Friedrich throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Herman's waist but Herman gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Friedrich off to one side.
Friedrich shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Herman defends it nicely.
Herman tries to close the distance and clinch up but Friedrich swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Friedrich has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Herman finds it's way round the side to connect with Friedrich's head.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Herman has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Friedrich is proving hard to escape from.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Friedrich lands a big elbow - Herman is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Friedrich!
