Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Deathgrip.
Archangel shoots for a double leg takedown but Deathgrip sprawls well. He's pushed Archangel's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Archangel fails with the takedown.
Archangel fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Blink Deathgrip has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Crash Archangel.
Deathgrip misses with a takedown attempt - Archangel sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Archangel drives through with a takedown into Deathgrip's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Archangel accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Deathgrip is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Deathgrip holds on and takes a little breather.
Archangel with a flurry of punches that miss.
Archangel trying to control the position from guard on top but Deathgrip is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Deathgrip is looking to sinch up a triangle. Archangel throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Deathgrip's body to avoid the submission. Deathgrip has instead reached around Archangel's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Deathgrip arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
