Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Daniel Cesar and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva blocks a head kick by Clement.
Silva motions for Clement to come forward. Silva throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
A clash of legs there as Clement blocks the low kick.
Silva blocks a head kick by Clement.
Silva looks to clinch
and Clement counters with a solid body kick.
Clement throws a leg kick but Silva sees it coming and moves out of range.
Clement looks for the body kick but Silva saw that one coming.
Clement misses with a low kick.
Silva has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Clement.
A chopping leg kick lands by Clement.
Silva tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Clement manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Clement scores with a kick to the body.
Clement throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Silva throws a leg kick
and Clement counters with a good, hard body kick but Silva shrugs it off.
Clement turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Clement connects with a solid leg kick.

Silva pivots, looking for a leg kick but Clement is out of range and Silva settles back down.
Clement lands a nice leg kick that just misses Silva's sensitive parts.
Silva throws a chopping leg kick but Clement manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Silva takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Silva tries to clinch up
and Clement counters with a head kick.
Silva throws a leg kick that misses.
Silva throws a low kick but Clement moves out of range easily.
Clement throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Clement.
Silva looks gassed!
Clement throws a front kick that sends Silva stumbling back into the cage.
A good leg kick by Clement.
Clement lands with a nice body kick.
Clement fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Silva has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Clement throws a nice outside leg kick.
Silva's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Clement connects with an inside leg kick.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Clement.
Silva steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Clement. That one must have hurt.
An inside leg kick lands from Clement.
Clement throws a nice outside leg kick.
Clement scores with a jab to the body.

A solid leg kick lands there for Clement.
Clement lands with a kick to the ribs.
Clement fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Silva.
Clement connects with a leg kick. Silva looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Clement throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Silva's head.
Clement throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Silva chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Clement can pounce on him.
Clement has Silva up against the cage in a clinch.
Silva takes a knee to the side of the body.
Clement lands a knee to the head.

Clement pushes Silva away with a front kick.

Clement connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Silva to the floor! Clement dives in looking for the finish!

Silva wants to get back to full guard but Clement has passed into side control.
Clement is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Silva is trying to escape and Clement transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Silva is forced to tap! Nice work there by Clement! Very nice indeed!
