Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Duk Dong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Rotton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Dong might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Thompson Twins - If You Were Here. Duk Dong has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Duk Dong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Johnny Rotton!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Columbo Gatti and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dong instigates a clinch.
Dong is working for takedown but Rotton is calmly controlling the position for now.
Rotton prevents a takedown attempt there.
Rotton prevents the takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Duk Dong. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dong keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Rotton's efforts to push away.
Dong slows down the pace here.

Rotton's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Rotton stuffs the takedown attempt from Dong. Dong gets slowly back to his feet.
Rotton fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Rotton avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Rotton stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Rotton wants it to stay on the feet.
Dong will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Rotton stuffs the takedown attempt from Dong. Dong gets slowly back to his feet.
Rotton misses with a body punch
and Dong counters with a stiff right hand.
Dong tries for a takedown but Rotton sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Rotton throws a nice looking combination but Dong bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Rotton slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Rotton bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Dong really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Dong gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
It looks like Rotton is going to stand back up.
Dong manages to get to full guard.
Dong seems keen to control Rotton's posture.

Rotton trying to control but Dong is working from the bottom.

Dong is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Rotton has his hands clasped together but Dong extends an breaks Rotton's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Dong.
