Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Aleksandr Fedorov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ador King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Aleksandr Fedorov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ador King! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! King looks to clinch and Fedorov decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in King's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. King seems keen to control Fedorov's posture. King is trying to keep Fedorov in close.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Aleksandr Fedorov wasn't doing enough on the ground. King misses with a double jab.
King tries to work over Fedorov's front leg with a kick but Fedorov checks it. Fedorov shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has King pinned against the cage. King gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Fedorov closes the distance and clinches.

King has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Fedorov is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Fedorov turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Fedorov stands up and we're back to a striking position. King fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Fedorov shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. King wants to stand and escape but Fedorov is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fedorov controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Fedorov decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on King, up you get! Ador King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. King shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Fedorov pinned against the cage. Fedorov gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Aleksandr Fedorov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ador King. King throws a head kick but Fedorov moves out of range.
Fedorov shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Fedorov was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Fedorov has hold of King's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and King manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Fedorov thowing shots but they're missing. Fedorov takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. King is looking to improve his position but Fedorov isn't that keen on the idea. Fedorov looking to control and managing it successfully. King tries to reverse the position but Fedorov maintains control. King tries to lock up and control but Fedorov gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. King is desperately trying to improve his position but Fedorov has a good base and remains in mount. Fedorov seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but King is holding on tight.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Aleksandr Fedorov dominated that round. That's time! Fedorov's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
King tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Fedorov counters with a single leg into guard. King didn't expect that. King controls Fedorov momentarily but Fedorov frees himself. Fedorov stays in close to King's body and controls the position. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. King wants to sweep here but Fedorov controlling him for the moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. King is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Aleksandr Fedorov has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. King misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fedorov keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
King walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Fedorov checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Fedorov shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in King's guard. King controls Fedorov momentarily but Fedorov frees himself. Fedorov looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Fedorov's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Aleksandr Fedorov just wasn't active enough. Fedorov shoots in looking for a takedown but King manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Fedorov's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Horrible takedown by King or perhaps it was just good defense by Fedorov which made him look bad. King shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Fedorov sprawls well. Fedorov wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. King gets slowly back to his feet. Fedorov blocks a head kick by King.
Fedorov throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. King was covering up waiting for the punch and Fedorov finishes the takedown easily into guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Fedorov slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. King looking to hit a scissor sweep but Fedorov is one step ahead there. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Fedorov controlling from the top position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Aleksandr Fedorov. The fight stays on the outside here - King looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. King fails to land the takedown. Aleksandr Fedorov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ador King. Fedorov circles away from the clinch attempt.

and Fedorov counters with a takedown into side control. King is looking for a sweep. Fedorov controls the position. Aleksandr Fedorov overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Fedorov wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by King, who protects the arm well. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Fedorov moves into full mount! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Fedorov looking to control and managing it successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

King shoots and misses and Fedorov counters with a nice double leg into guard. Fedorov gets to his feet. King looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! King shoots in for a takedown but Fedorov shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Aleksandr Fedorov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ador King. King tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Fedorov paws at him with a jab and circles away. Fedorov wants to finish this one by submission but King is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Fedorov. King is desperately trying to improve his position but Fedorov has a good base and remains in mount.

King is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. King wants to hold on but Fedorov pushes him away. Fedorov controlling from mount. Fedorov stands up from mount. Strange move. Fedorov drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. King can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Fedorov controls the pace. Fedorov thows a big elbow that misses. Fedorov sitting in guard here, content to control. This has been an exciting period of action! We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
We're going to have a standup here because Aleksandr Fedorov wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. A momentary lapse in concentration from King enables Fedorov to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. King manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Fedorov drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Fedorov jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Fedorov sitting in guard, not really doing much. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Fedorov decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
And that's the end of the fight! Aleksandr Fedorov showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Fedorov, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
