Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Piero Panzanaro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cal Ripken Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cal Ripken Jr is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Cal Ripken Jr!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ripken Jr drops his hands momentarily and Panzanaro takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Ripken Jr dodges the punch combination from Panzanaro.
Panzanaro misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Ripken Jr has taken the fight to the clinch.
Panzanaro working hard to break the clinch.
Panzanaro tries to circle away but Ripken Jr has him pinned against the cage.

Ripken Jr pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Panzanaro circles away from the clinch attempt.
Panzanaro falls off balance throwing a combination
and Ripken Jr finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.

Ripken Jr has managed to clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Panzanaro throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Ripken Jr finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Panzanaro is breathing heavily.

Ripken Jr clinches up with Panzanaro and pushes him back against the cage.

Ripken Jr breaks from the clinch.
Ripken Jr takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Panzanaro throws a series of punches but Ripken Jr moves out of range.

Panzanaro gets tackled into the cage by Ripken Jr. Ripken Jr maintains the clinch.

Panzanaro has had enough of the clinch but Ripken Jr keeps him there for the moment.
The referee is keeping an eye on Ripken Jr - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Ripken Jr has Panzanaro pressed against the cage, preventing Panzanaro from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Ripken Jr breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
No joy there for Panzanaro, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Panzanaro steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Ripken Jr. That one must have hurt.

Ripken Jr lands a big head kick that sends Panzanaro tumbling to the mat! Ripken Jr takes a step backwards and waves Panzanaro back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Piero Panzanaro has been cut.

Panzanaro tries to keep at a distance but Ripken Jr has taken the fight into the clinch.

Sloppy strikes from Panzanaro. Those never looked like landing.

and Ripken Jr counters with a left right combination that sends Panzanaro crashing to the mat - Ripken Jr wastes no time in diving on top of him and pounding Panzanaro out for a TKO! Devastating finish!
