Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tyrone Hoost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrzej Wilczek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tyrone Hoost!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Andrzej Wilczek!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Patrick Alders and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilczek throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hoost's waist but Hoost gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Wilczek off to one side.
Wilczek shoots in but Hoost avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Wilczek tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hoost paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Hoost pushes Wilczek away with a front kick.
Wilczek tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
A head kick misses from Wilczek.
Wilczek is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Wilczek fails with the takedown
and Hoost makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Wilczek really felt that one!
Tyrone Hoost has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrzej Wilczek.

and Hoost counters with a low kick, right behind Wilczek 's knee.

Wilczek closes the distance and clinches up with Hoost, looking for a takedown. Wilczek pushes Hoost against the cage but Hoost circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Wilczek takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Hoost lands a head kick. Wilczek smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Wilczek takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

It looks like Andrzej Wilczek has been cut.
Tyrone Hoost is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Wilczek takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Hoost lands a leg kick that knocks Wilczek off balance momentarily.
Wilczek walks into a left hand.
Wilczek walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Hoost thows a body kick. Wilczek tries to catch it but that hurt him.

Wilczek is trying desperately to land a takedown but Hoost is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Wilczek.
Hoost throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Hoost comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Hoost throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Hoost feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Wilczeks jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Hoost lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Wilczek is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

and Hoost finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.

Hoost uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Wilczek shoots in looking for a takedown. Hoost tries to sprawl out of it but Wilczek keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hoost manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Hoost goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hoost plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Wilczek has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Hoost.
Wilczek dives in and grabs Hoost's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hoost pushes down on Wilczek's head and hops out.
Wilczek fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Hoost tests Wilczek's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Andrzej Wilczek is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Hoost throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Wilczek.
Tyrone Hoost is winning the standup battle so far.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Wilczek might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Hoost has got the better of the exchanges.

Hoost lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Hoost uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Hoost throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Wilczek's head.
Wilczek misses with a combination
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Wilczek seems to have recovered his senses.
Hoost lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Hoost thows a body kick. Wilczek tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Hoost goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Wilczek has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Wilczek takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Hoost throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Wilczek stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

and Hoost counters with a nice body shot.
Hoost throws a front kick that sends Wilczek stumbling back into the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A head kick from Hoost lands but Wilczek takes it in his stride.
