Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dan Geruss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rob Pain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Dan Geruss has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dan Geruss !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Rob Pain!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Sam Margolis and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Geruss is looking to clinch but Pain is avoiding it.
Geruss throws a series of punches but Pain moves out of range.
Pain ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Geruss throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Pain shoots in looking for a takedown. Geruss tries to sprawl out of it but Pain keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Geruss manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Geruss has closed the distance and engaged Pain in a clinch.
Pain drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Geruss gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Pain jumps guard and drags Geruss to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Pain keeping moving, preventing Geruss from controlling successfully.
Geruss would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Pain looking to hit a scissor sweep but Geruss is one step ahead there.

Pain trying to control the position.
Pain utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Geruss trying to control the position from guard on top but Pain is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Pain looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Pain shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Geruss as he avoids it easily.
Dan Geruss has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rob Pain.
Geruss stuffs the takedown attempt from Pain. Pain gets slowly back to his feet.
Pain looks gassed!
Geruss throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pain's waist but Pain gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Geruss off to one side.
Geruss circles away from the clinch attempt.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Geruss looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Pain!
Geruss looking to ground and pound but Pain is blocking nicely.
Pain wants to control but Geruss is having none of it.
Geruss misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Geruss tries to control but Pain wriggling away.
Geruss is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Pain is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Pain is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Pain tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Geruss wants to control the pace but Pain is squirming around nicely.
Pain tries to hold on but Geruss postures up.
Pain tries to buck Geruss off but he can't manage it.
Pain tries to lock up and control but Geruss gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Pain is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Pain wants to hold on but Geruss pushes him away.

Pain has worked his way to half guard, taking advantage of Geruss 's lack of action.
Pain tries to roll over but Geruss keeps him under control.
Geruss knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pain on the ground.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Pain throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Geruss 's waist but Geruss gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pain off to one side.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Pain gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Pain tries to close the distance and clinch up but Geruss swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Pain is squirming around, avoiding Geruss 's attempts to control the action.
Pain tries to hold on but Geruss postures up.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Pain is looking to get to half guard.

Geruss avoids the attempt from Pain to control.
Pain is trying desperately to improve position.
Pain regains half guard.
Geruss is thwarting Pain's attempts to control the position.
Pain tries to get to full guard but Geruss has control of the leg.
Pain pushes Geruss off and gets back to his feet.

Pain scores with a hook to the body. Geruss takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Pain will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Pain has Geruss pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Geruss manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

and Pain counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Pain throws a head kick that misses.

Pain has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Geruss avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Geruss comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Pain tries to pull guard but Geruss holds him up against the cage and eventually Pain drops back down to his feet.

Geruss breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Pain shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Both fighters circling a little - Geruss finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

and Pain counters with a shoot takedown. Geruss fights it but they end up in guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Geruss looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Pain advances to half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Pain thows a huge punch but Geruss dodges it nicely.

Rob Pain showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Pain takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

and Pain counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Pain slows the pace down in half guard.
Pain seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Pain is trying for a kimura here. Geruss looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Pain wins by kimura!
