Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Junior Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Potato Head Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Junior Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Potato Head Bob!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Damien Edna and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva is looking to clinch but Bob is avoiding it.
Bob scores with a jab to the body.
A jab lands there for Bob.
Silva walks into a stiff left hand from Bob.
Silva looks to land a combination but Bob avoids it well.
Bob circles away from the clinch attempt.
Silva takes a jab right on the kisser.
Silva falls off balance throwing a combination
and Bob counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Silva darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Bob punishes Silva's body with a nice straight punch.
Silva throws a series of punches but Bob avoids them all with ease.
Silva takes a body punch but keeps moving.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bob tests Silva's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Silva throws out a loose jab but Bob uses good head movement to avoid it.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Bob checks a leg kick.
Bob lands a body shot.
Silva misses with a combination
and Bob counters with a one-two to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bob connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Silva momentarily.
Bob changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Junior Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bob ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Silva takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Silva changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bob tries to avoid it but Silva manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bob to the ground. Bob escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Silva is breathing heavily.
Silva falls off balance throwing a combination
and Bob counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Silva misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bob works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Bob dodges the punch combination from Silva.
Bob lands a right hook to the body.
Bob scores with a punch to the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Silva takes one on the button.

Bob scores with a jab. Silva acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Oh Silva is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Silva misses with a combination
and Bob counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Bob changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Silva seems to have got his legs back now.
Potato Head Bob is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Bob lands a head shot.
A jab from Bob does it's job there.
Bob cracks Silva with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Bob fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Bob connects with a crisp jab.
The fight stays on the outside here - Silva looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Bob is pawing at Silva, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Silva's nose. Silva is badly hurt! Bob pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Silva tries desperately to hold on but Bob is relentless in his assault! As Silva receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Bob away and this one is in the books!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Potato Head Bob!
