Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Henry Ngo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oz Clarke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Henry Ngo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Oz Clarke!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Skip Squint and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ngo doesn't manage to clinch there - Clarke circles away.
Ngo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Clarke's waist but Clarke gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ngo off to one side.
Clarke dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Ngo. That did some damage!
Clarke scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
It looks like Henry Ngo has been cut.
Ngo will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Clarke - that will leave a mark!
Ngo takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Ngo shoots in looking for a takedown. Clarke tries to sprawl out of it but Ngo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Clarke manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Henry Ngo. That's going to take a lot out of him.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Ngo connects with a nice short shot to Clarke's temple.

Ngo is taking a breather. Clarke says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Clarke wants to get back to his feet.
Ngo is looking to take a break and control but Clarke is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Clarke pushes Ngo off looking to stand but Ngo dives back in and keeps control.

Ngo is pressing down on Clarke's thigh, looking to free his foot. Clarke is holding on for now.
Ngo stands up out of the half guard.
Clarke slaps away a takedown attempt from Ngo, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Clarke throws a right hand that Ngo ducks under and follows up with a left that Ngo also avoids with ease.
Ngo shoots for a takedown but Clarke saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Clarke throws a quick inside leg kick.
Ngo shoots in for a double leg but Clarke sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Henry Ngo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice takedown defense from Clarke. No joy for Ngo on that attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Henry Ngo dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Henry Ngo's cut.
That's time! Ngo's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Horrible takedown by Ngo or perhaps it was just good defense by Clarke which made him look bad.
Ngo fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Clarke avoids it really well and circles away.
No joy there for Clarke, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Clarke misses with a jab, cross combination.
Ngo looking to score a takedown here. Clarke is defending well but Ngo drives through and ends up in Clarke's guard.
Clarke wants to stand but Ngo is controlling the position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ngo accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Ngo trying to control but Clarke is working from the bottom.

Ngo pushing down on Clarke's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Clarke is trying to stand up here but Ngo is controlling him well.
Ngo is trying to control the action in half guard but Clarke is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Clarke keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Ngo lands strikes from half guard.
Ngo is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Clarke doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ngo.
Clarke wants to get back to his feet.
Clarke really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ngo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Ngo stands up from half guard.
Ngo feints and as Clarke raises his hands in defense, Ngo changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ngo postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Ngo trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Ngo wants to control from the top but Clarke keeps moving.
Ngo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Clarke swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Clarke is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ngo drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Clarke dives on top into guard.
Ngo lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Clarke!

Clarke tries to buck Ngo off but he can't manage it.
Clarke avoids a series of strikes thrown by Ngo.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Ngo cracks Clarke with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Clarke is rocked!
Clarke takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Ngo's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
