Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bender Rodriguez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nick Shamrock!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodriguez loads up on a big right hand but Shamrock slips the punch.
Rodriguez bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Shamrock's head backwards.
Shamrock shoots in for a takedown but Rodriguez shows good takedown defense.
Rodriguez stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Rodriguez sizes up Shamrock with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
No joy there for Rodriguez, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Rodriguez punishes Shamrock's body with a nice straight punch.
Rodriguez scores with a one two! Shamrock had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Rodriguez fails with an attempt to clinch.
Rodriguez sends Shamrock crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Rodriguez is motioning to the referee to let Shamrock up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Shamrock is rocked!
It looks like Nick Shamrock has been cut.
Bender Rodriguez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shamrock staying out of range there.
Shamrock is still on wobbly legs! Can Rodriguez finish him?
Shamrock ducks under a wild hook from Rodriguez.
Rodriguez lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A choreographed right hand from Rodriguez misses the target.
Shamrock slips under a jab.
Shamrock changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rodriguez tries to avoid it but Shamrock manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rodriguez to the ground. Rodriguez escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Rodriguez throws a good cross that connects.
A left and a right from Rodriguez both land. Nice combination.
Rodriguez missing with a left hand there. Shamrock was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Rodriguez throws a monster overhand right that drops Shamrock! Rodriguez follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bender Rodriguez!
