Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vince Linley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Gat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vince Linley has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Linley will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Gat misses with a takedown
and Linley counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Gat tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Linley paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Gat shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Linley on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Johnny Gat seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Gat shoots in for a double leg but Linley sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Linley lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gat circles away quickly and effectively.

Linley feints and as Gat raises his hands in defense, Linley changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Linley is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Gat has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Linley won't allow Gat to get back to his feet.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Linley lands a nice hook to Gat's body. Gat takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Gat takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Linley lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Linley scores with a one two! Gat had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Gat looks to land a combination. Linley sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Vince Linley will probably get the nod.

Linley is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Gat is hurt! He's hurt bad - Linley fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Gat from any more punishment! Congratulations to Linley! Great finish!
