Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zig Ziggler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Paul Badeux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Badeux has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Zig Ziggler has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zig Ziggler! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Paul Badeux! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ziggler lands a nice looking body kick. Badeux looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ziggler lands a jab to Badeux's midsection. Ziggler catches Badeux napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Badeux to the canvas!
That has opened up John Paul Badeux's cut even more. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Ziggler showing good wrestling skills to control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ziggler decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Badeux, up you get! Ziggler lands a leg kick that knocks Badeux off balance momentarily. Ziggler closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Ziggler breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Good leg kick by Ziggler there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
A slapping leg kick lands for Ziggler.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ziggler lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. A nice inside leg kick there by Ziggler. That's going to slow Badeux down. This has been an exciting period of action! Ziggler lands a nice hook to Badeux's body. Badeux takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Ziggler gets in close and instigates a clinch. Ziggler's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Ziggler clinches up with Badeux and pushes him back against the cage. Ziggler breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ziggler bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Badeux! He dives into his guard looking to finish!
Badeux is rocked!
The cut above John Paul Badeux's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Ziggler stands up and waves to Badeux to follow him. Badeux is still on wobbly legs! Can Ziggler finish him? Badeux takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ziggler jabs at Badeux's body. Ziggler gets a clinch. Ziggler breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Badeux tries to get into range but Ziggler steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Badeux! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Ziggler scores the big KO victory!
