Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Xavier Bastarrachea (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stephen McMurtry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bastarrachea comes into the arena with Young Folks blaring out of the sound system. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bastarrachea throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and McMurtry counters with a one-two to the body.
McMurtry throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Bastarrachea drives through and clinches with McMurtry against the cage.
Bastarrachea lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

McMurtry is looking to break free of the clinch but Bastarrachea has double underhooks.

McMurtry chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Bastarrachea can pounce on him.

Bastarrachea drives through and clinches with McMurtry against the cage.

McMurtry has had enough of the clinch but Bastarrachea keeps him there for the moment.

Bastarrachea drops McMurtry with a big knee straight up the middle! McMurtry is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

Bastarrachea cracks McMurtry with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! McMurtry falls to his knees and Bastarrachea doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
