PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Caiden Cross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Spartacus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cross kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Knockout. Spartacus is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Destroyer. This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spartacus misses with a straight right.
Spartacus lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Spartacus drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Spartacus is pushing down on Cross's leg trying to pass to half guard. Cross is fighting to maintain full guard but Spartacus has managed to sneak the leg through.

Cross is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Spartacus's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Spartacus's back!

Cross is looking to work some ground and pound but Spartacus has wrist control.
Cross has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Spartacus bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Cross's guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Spartacus wants to pass to mount but Cross is defending the position.

That's time! Cross's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Nice defenses there by Cross.
Cross lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Spartacus looks to score with a jab to the body but Cross is just out of range.
Cross defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Spartacus.
Cross fails with an attempt to clinch.
Spartacus misses with an uppercut. Cross saw that one coming.
Cross lands a nice looking body shot.
A looping hook to the body misses from Spartacus. Cross does a little dance to reset his feet.
Spartacus gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Cross.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Spartacus closes the distance and clinches up with Cross, looking for a takedown. Spartacus pushes Cross against the cage but Cross circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

The fighters circling - Spartacus throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Spartacus stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Cross cracks Spartacus with a hook to the temple - Spartacus is on wobbly legs here! Cross swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Spartacus falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Cross wins by TKO!
