The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Norks lands a nice shot that snaps Abrams's head back.

It looks like Alfie Norks has been cut. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. This has been an exciting period of action! The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Abrams working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Abrams might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Norks kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Abrams is looking to reverse the position. Norks is looking to take a break and control but Abrams is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Abrams tries to improve position but can't. Abrams is trying to get back to half guard. Abrams looks up at the clock. Bad move! Norks lands a right hand from hell, dropping Abrams. Norks pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
