The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silver fails with a takedown attempt.
Masilungan looks to score with a jab to the body but Silver is just out of range.
Masilungan getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Masilungan displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Silver.
Masilungan lands with a slapping head kick.
It looks like Patrick Silver has been cut.
Masilungan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Masilungan lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Masilungan cracks the inside of Silver's front leg.
Silver throws a sloppy head kick and Masilungan moves out of range easily.
Silver has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Silver there as he acknowledges the shot.
Masilungan thows a left - swing and a miss!
Silver shoots for a takedown but Masilungan saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Jesh Masilungan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Patrick Silver.
Masilungan throws a right and a left that both miss.
Silver shoots for a double leg takedown but Masilungan sprawls well. He's pushed Silver's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Silver will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Silver shoots in looking for a takedown. Masilungan tries to sprawl out of it but Silver keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Masilungan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Masilungan throws a head kick but Silver moves out of range.
Masilungan keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Jesh Masilungan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silver shoots in for a takedown but Masilungan shows good takedown defense.

Silver on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Silver walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Masilungan jabs Silver right on the nose. Silver blinks but takes it well.
Masilungan connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Masilungan's corner calls for a 1-2. Masilungan obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Masilungan throws a body punch but Silver moves out of range.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Silver drops his hands momentarily and Masilungan takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Masilungan throws a leg kick which misses Silver's front leg but catches the back leg as Silver tries to avoid it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jesh Masilungan dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Patrick Silver's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Silver takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Silver's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Masilungan throws a nice head kick!
Masilungan lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Silver can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Masilungan and Silver drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Masilungan.
