Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mickey Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smith kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is In The Morning. The crowd seem to be enjoying Davis's choice of entrance music: Deftones - Beware. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Davis.

Davis throws a leg kick but Smith sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Davis tries to pull guard but Smith holds him up against the cage and eventually Davis drops back down to his feet.
John Smith has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mickey Davis.

Smith pushes Davis back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Davis is rocked!
Smith lands a nice elbow.

Davis tries to pull guard but Smith won't allow it.

Davis is pressed against the cage. Smith pushes back and unleashes a big elbow that really hurts Davis! Two more big strikes from Smith and Davis crumples to the mat and taps out furiously due to the strikes!
