Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tim Fraser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Harper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harper has chosen Welcome To Jamrock as his entrance music. Ben Harper has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tim Fraser!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ben Harper!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fraser catches Harper with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Harper tries to clinch up but Fraser circles away and keeps his distance.
Harper closes the distance looking to clinch
and Fraser counters with a left to the body.
Harper fails in his attempt to clinch.
Jab, jab by Fraser - just one landing.
Fraser swats away the attempt to clinch by Harper.
Fraser tries to score a power double leg takedown but Harper sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Fraser somewhat.
Fraser scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Fraser shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Harper but Harper pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Harper lands a big head kick that sends Fraser tumbling to the mat! Harper takes a step backwards and waves Fraser back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Tim Fraser has been cut.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Fraser connects with a nice short shot to Harper's temple.
Fraser is trying to control the action in half guard but Harper is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Harper is looking for a sweep. Fraser is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Harper takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Fraser closes the distance and clinches up with Harper, looking for a takedown. Fraser pushes Harper against the cage but Harper circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Fraser shoots in looking for a takedown. Harper tries to sprawl out of it but Fraser keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Harper manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Harper goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Fraser can't get the takedown.
Fraser drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Harper gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Fraser looking to hit a scissor sweep but Harper is one step ahead there.

Fraser escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Harper gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Fraser has his foot on Harper's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Harper works his way back into a safe position though.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Ben Harper comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Harper has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
