The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thermandin throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Thermandin throws a hook but Gracie avoids it easily.
Gracie takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Gracie is breathing heavily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Thermandin scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Thermandin looks for the body kick but Gracie saw that one coming.
Gracie has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Thermandin.
Gracie keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Thermandin.
Gracie takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Some wild striking there from Thermandin.
Gracie takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Thermandin cracks the inside of Gracie's front leg.
Thermandin connects with a leg kick. Gracie looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Thermandin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gracie stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Thermandin.
Thermandin lands a jab.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Thermandin pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Thermandin steps in with a hook that catches Gracie right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Thermandin follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Gracie looks absolutely devastated.
