The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Marco Blurström and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pancha looks to land a combination but Bu Jeevy avoids it well.
Pancha lands a nice hook to Bu Jeevy's body. Bu Jeevy takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Sancho Pancha seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bu Jeevy tries to free his leg and advance position but Pancha is retaining full guard.

Stevie Bu Jeevy overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pancha is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Bu Jeevy is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Pancha to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Pancha shrugs it off.
Bu Jeevy throws some wild stikes that Pancha manages to avoid easily.
Pancha defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Bu Jeevy.
Bu Jeevy goes for an armbar but Pancha turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Pancha.
Bu Jeevy wants to sweep here but Pancha controlling him for the moment.
Pancha is pushing down on Bu Jeevy's leg trying to pass to half guard. Bu Jeevy is fighting to maintain full guard but Pancha has managed to sneak the leg through.

Pancha looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Pancha is trying to escape the mount but Bu Jeevy keeps good control and instead manages to take Pancha's back.

Bu Jeevy has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Pancha! Can he survive? No! He's out! Bu Jeevy gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
