The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gavrilov takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Gavrilov shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Rogen's guard. Rogen avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Gavrilov not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Rogen avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Gavrilov thows a big elbow that misses. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Rogen is on top in guard.
Rogen missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Gavrilov throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Rogen wants to control from the top but Gavrilov keeps moving. Gavrilov is looking to stand up but Rogen isn't so interested in that idea.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gavrilov looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gavrilov is trying to keep Rogen in close.
Rogen passes Gavrilov's left leg - he's now in half guard. Gavrilov manages to get to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gavrilov looking for a sweep. Not yet Gavrilov, not yet. Rogen lands a couple of elbows. Gavrilov working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Rogen. Rogen wants to control from the top but Gavrilov keeps moving. Rogen throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Rogen throws a big right hand that misses. Gavrilov wants to get back to his feet but Rogen is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Gavrilov looks gassed!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rogen trying to control the position from guard on top but Gavrilov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Rogen makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Rogen drops back, looking for a kneebar! Gavrilov looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Gavrilov looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Gavrilov! Rogen is looking for a sweep.
That's four minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Rogen's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Rogen gets back to half guard. Gavrilov misses with a head shot. Rogen uses the momentum to regain guard. Gavrilov avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gavrilov is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Seth Rogen will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Gavrilov closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Gavrilov wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rogen keeps working. Rogen tries to bench press Gavrilov off him but Gavrilov keeps the position. Rogen is trying to control Gavrilov's posture but Gavrilov avoids it. Gavrilov working the ground and pound. Gavrilov trying to control the position but Rogen is working away. Gavrilov decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Rogen lands a jab. Gavrilov has Rogen up against the cage in a clinch.
Gavrilov pulls guard effortlessly. Rogen trying to control the position from guard on top but Gavrilov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Gavrilov working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Rogen. Rogen chips away with some ground and pound. Gavrilov has Rogen pulled in close to control his posture. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gavrilov is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rogen loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Rogen working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Gavrilov looking to hit a scissor sweep but Rogen is one step ahead there. Gavrilov throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Gavrilov keeping full guard, as Rogen tries to pass. Rogen has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Alexsander Gavrilov has got the better of the ground game so far. Rogen seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Gavrilov looks like he's trying to stand up.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Rogen is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Gavrilov is just riding it out for now. Rogen eventually gives up the hold. Gavrilov is not content to let Rogen control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Alexsander Gavrilov will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Rogen gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Gavrilov is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Rogen lets go of the hold and Gavrilov can pop his arm back in it's socket.
