Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Donald Fraser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Golem Gol Dlakav (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Golem Gol Dlakav will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Donald Fraser!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Golem Gol Dlakav!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dlakav gets a takedown into half guard.
Fraser might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Fraser slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Fraser keeping moving, preventing Dlakav from controlling successfully.
Fraser striking off his back but it's not causing Dlakav any problems.

Fraser pushes Dlakav off and gets back to his feet.
Fraser throws a right and a left that both miss.
Dlakav fails with the takedown.
Fraser looks to land a combination but Dlakav avoids it well.

Dlakav closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Dlakav lands in his opponent's guard.
Fraser is striking but Dlakav is not phased and passes to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Dlakav tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Fraser swivels and escapes.

Horrible takedown by Dlakav or perhaps it was just good defense by Fraser which made him look bad.
Donald Fraser has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Golem Gol Dlakav.
Dlakav looks gassed!
Dlakav shoots in and drives through. Fraser sprawls well.
Fraser will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Dlakav shoots in for a double leg but Fraser sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Dlakav fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Fraser sprawls well initially but Dlakav persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Dlakav is nestled in close to Fraser, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Dlakav wants to control but Fraser is keeping him busy.
Fraser tries to roll over but Dlakav keeps him under control.

Dlakav is looking to advance position but Fraser won't allow it.

Dlakav really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fraser. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Fraser throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Dlakav looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Dlakav wants to stand up but Fraser is controlling the position.

Fraser kicks Dlakav off and gets back to his feet.
Dlakav misses with a takedown attempt - Fraser sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Good leg kick by Fraser there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Fraser looks to land a combination but Dlakav avoids it well.

Fraser fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Fraser tries to close the distance and clinch but Dlakav swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Dlakav darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Dlakav seems to be working for a kimura but Fraser defends the submission attempt.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Donald Fraser will probably get the nod.

Donald Fraser seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fraser throws a combination that misses

and Dlakav counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Dlakav tries to stand but can't do so whilst Fraser controls his leg.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Dlakav counters with a single leg into guard. Fraser didn't expect that.

Fraser wants to stand and escape but Dlakav is having none of it.
Fraser lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Dlakav!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
