Vegh will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Achterkamp is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Achterkamp throws a one two combo.
The fight stays on the outside here - Achterkamp looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Achterkamp stuffs the takedown attempt from Vegh. Vegh gets slowly back to his feet.
Achterkamp fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Vegh.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Arnold Vegh. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Vegh closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Vegh lands in his opponent's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Achterkamp is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Vegh thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Vegh with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Vegh working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Vegh drops back looking for a leg! Achterkamp is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Achterkamp manages to kick Vegh off! Vegh jumps back into Achterkamp's guard.
Vegh drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Vegh seems to have locked his on tight now - Achterkamp screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Vegh, as he picks up the win!
