Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Loose Mowel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bryan Bishop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Loose Mowel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bryan Bishop!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Alexandre Firmino and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bishop tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mowel sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bishop somewhat.
A solid leg kick lands there for Mowel.
A slapping leg kick lands for Mowel.
Mowel throws a sloppy head kick and Bishop moves out of range easily.
Bishop shoots in but Mowel avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Bishop shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mowel but Mowel pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Loose Mowel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bryan Bishop.
Bishop fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Mowel delivers a nice body kick.
A head kick misses from Mowel.
Mowel looks to land a right hand but Bishop moved out of range.
Bishop moves out of range as Mowel throws a body kick.
Bishop dives in and scores a takedown into Mowel's guard.

Bishop throws a strike but Mowel rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Loose Mowel just wasn't active enough.
Mowel buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Mowel displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Bishop.

Bishop cracks Mowel with a big right hand but Mowel just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Bishop is looking to take a break and control but Mowel is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Mowel is looking to improve his position but Bishop isn't that keen on the idea.
Mowel is bucking up trying to escape but Bishop cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bishop lands a big shot to the head and Mowel winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
