Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Terrible (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Boans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boans is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Walk by Pantera. Jon Boans will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ivan Terrible!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Felipe Paraventi and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boans fails with the takedown.
Danga de danga de dang - Terrible scores with a four punch combination!
Jon Boans seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boans looks for a takedown but Terrible sprawls well.
Terrible connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Boans momentarily.
Terrible is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Boans fails in his attempt to clinch.

and Terrible moves into the clinch.
Ivan Terrible has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jon Boans.
Terrible breaks from the clinch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Boans tries to close the distance and clinch up but Terrible swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Horrible takedown by Boans or perhaps it was just good defense by Terrible which made him look bad.
Terrible feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Terrible accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Boans working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Terrible.
Terrible throwing strikes but missing.
Terrible might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Terrible stands and steps away. Boans gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Both fighters circling a little - Terrible finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Boans looks gassed!
Boans tries to clinch but Terrible is having none of it.
Terrible fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Terrible lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
It looks like Jon Boans has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Boans takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Terrible catches Boans napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Boans to the canvas!
Boans is rocked!
Terrible wants to control from the top but Boans keeps moving.
Terrible sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Terrible advances position into side control!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Terrible remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Boans is trying to control Terrible's posture but Terrible avoids it.
Terrible decides to stand back up.
Terrible lands with a thumping leg kick.
Terrible stuffs the takedown.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Boans tries to keep at a distance but Terrible has taken the fight into the clinch.
Terrible manages to break the clinch.
Terrible throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Boans's waist but Boans gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Terrible off to one side.
Boans misses with a hook to the body
and Terrible counters by moving into the clinch.
Terrible escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A head kick from Terrible lands but Boans takes it in his stride.
Boans looks to clinch
and Terrible counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Terrible landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Terrible breaks from the clinch.
A jab-cross combination lands for Terrible and sends Boans crashing to the mat! Terrible follows him down to the mat - Boans regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
That has opened up Jon Boans's cut even more.
Terrible stands up and beckons Boans to join him on the feet.
Terrible connects with a solid leg kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Terrible drops Boans with a nice combination! Terrible dives into Boans's guard, looking to finish!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Boans utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Terrible forces his way into half guard.
Terrible is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Terrible decides to stand and escape the position.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Terrible scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Terrible lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Terrible.
The cut above Jon Boans's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Terrible is working the combinations to good effect here.
Terrible lands a head kick that stumbles Boans and the fighters go to the mat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ivan Terrible dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Jon Boans's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Terrible connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Boans covering up! Terrible comes in with a big uppercut and Boans goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Ivan Terrible!
