Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Evander Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carl Bell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes to the cage accompanied by Enter Sandman. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Evander Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Carl Bell! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bell manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Jones on his heels. He'll look to pass Jones's guard now, I'm sure. Bell stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jones swivels though and keeps the full guard. Bell trying to control but Jones is working from the bottom. Jones is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Bell wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving. Jones trying to keep a closed guard but Bell is proving a slippery customer.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Bell shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Jones defends it nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bell throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jones's waist but Jones gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bell off to one side. Bell shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jones as he avoids it easily. Evander Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Carl Bell. Bell tries to clinch but Jones moves out of range. Bell fails with a takedown attempt. Jones stuffs the takedown attempt from Bell. Bell gets slowly back to his feet. Bell shoots in for a takedown but Jones shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bell changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jones tries to avoid it but Bell manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jones to the ground. Jones escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Jones shoots in but no luck this time. Jones thows a left - swing and a miss! Bell shoots and misses so Jones counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bell looks gassed! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jones has gone for a leg lock! Bell slips out almost immediately though and dives into Jones's guard. Jones looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Bell trying to control but Jones is working from the bottom. Bell pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jones is keeping the position for now. Jones knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bell on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Bell seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Jones leaves Bell with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Bell will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Carl Bell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bell closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jones to the mat! Jones manages to get full guard. Jones trying to control the position.
Bell pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jones is keeping the position for now. Bell postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jones is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Bell, into his guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jones postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Carl Bell will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Jones fails with a takedown attempt from distance. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bell. Bell looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Jones stuffs the takedown. Evander Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Carl Bell. Bell closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jones circles away. Jones gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Bell counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bell passes Jones's left leg - he's now in half guard. Bell working over Jones with some ground and pound. Jones looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Bell is trying to control. Jones wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Bell thows a huge punch but Jones dodges it nicely.
Bell looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bell wants to control but Jones is keeping him busy. Bell is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Jones blocking the ground and pound attempt from Bell.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bell throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Bell seems to be looking for submissions.
Jones avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Bell. Bell is nestled in close to Jones, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Bell is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Jones sees it coming and defends easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bell works his foot free and advances to mount. Jones stops Bell from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better. Bell trying to control but he's not successful this time. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bell is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Jones is surviving well by controlling Bell's body position as best he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Carl Bell showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Bell misses with a hook. Jones slaps away a takedown attempt from Bell, before circling back to the center of the mat. Bell tries for a takedown but Jones circles away easily and Jones counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Bell! A nice elbow there by Jones.
It looks like Carl Bell has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jones lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Jones cracks Bell with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Bell takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Jones is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Bell has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Bell! Bell passes Jones's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones blocking the ground and pound attempt from Bell. Bell looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Bell is taking a breather. Jones says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Bell maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Jones could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Bell has cracked it and Jones is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Bell!
