5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Fumito Makino! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chakotay Ricker! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yuuki Gou and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ricker goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. The fight moves into the clinch position. Makino has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Makino avoids a wild elbow strike from Ricker. Makino's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Ricker misses with a body kick. Ricker tries to clinch but Makino moves out of range. Makino throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Makino scores with a sloppy right hand. Ricker should have avoided that one. Ricker defending well as Makino loads up on a big left hand. Ricker drives through and clinches with Makino against the cage.

He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ricker looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Makino scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Ricker throws a chopping leg kick but Makino manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Ricker fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Makino. Ricker is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Makino moves out of range of the body kick from Ricker.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Ricker. Ricker misses with a low kick.
We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Ricker in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off. A jab lands there for Makino. Makino takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

A low kick from Ricker misses enabling Makino to counter with a crisp jab. Ricker looks to land a body kick but Makino moved away. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Ricker throws a leg kick which misses Makino's front leg but catches the back leg as Makino tries to avoid it. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ricker throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Makino feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Rickers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
And that's the end of the fight! Chakotay Ricker comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Ricker has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
