Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jerry Nassoon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuri Makov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Makov wants to slow Nassoon down by chopping away at his legs.
Nassoon throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Makov tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Nassoon defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Makov.
Makov tries to clinch but Nassoon moves out of range.
Makov closes the distance looking to clinch
and Nassoon counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Makov!

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Makov shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Nassoon defends it nicely.

Nassoon fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Nassoon has Makov up against the cage in a clinch.
Nassoon has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Makov clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Nassoon has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Makov has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Makov tries to escape but Nassoon has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Makov sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Makov moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Nassoon wants to stand but Makov is controlling his posture from full guard.
Nassoon is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Makov has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Nassoon is looking to defend but Makov has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Nassoon! Makov pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Nassoon taps out and this one is all over!
