Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Micheal Havel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mark Brown struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 146.4lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Micheal Havel has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 1, fighting out of New York, Micheal Havel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mark Brown! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Jonathan Paton and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A shot to the liver by Havel. Beautiful body shot. Brown throws a right and a left that Havel avoids nicely. Micheal Havel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Havel lands with a good body shot. Brown shoots in but Havel avoids the takedown attempt easily. Havel tries to clinch up but Brown circles away and keeps his distance. Brown slips a jab from Havel. Havel throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Brown uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Havel.
Havel connects with a right hand. Brown shakes it off. Havel misses with a two punch combination.
Brown takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Brown takes a shot right to the bread basket. Horrible takedown by Havel or perhaps it was just good defense by Brown which made him look bad. Havel misses with a takedown attempt and Brown counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's one minute gone in the round. Havel works Brown's body with a nice hook. Havel thows a body shot but no joy. Havel misses with an uppercut. Havel misses with a straight right. Brown stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Brown wants it to stay on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Micheal Havel. That's going to take a lot out of him. Havel shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Havel stops Brown from getting back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Havel is pressing down on Brown's thigh, looking to free his foot. Brown is holding on for now. Brown is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Havel takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Micheal Havel. Havel is looking to clinch but Brown is avoiding it.
Havel really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. A combination from Brown does no damage. Havel lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Brown circles away quickly and effectively.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice shot lands for Havel. Brown circles away from the clinch attempt.
Havel is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Havel moves in looking to clinch but Brown pushes him off. Jab, jab by Havel - just one landing. Brown uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Havel. Havel bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Brown's head. Havel with a body punch. A glancing blow. The crowd cheers as Havel lands an impressive looking overhand right. Brown doesn't seem phased though. Brown dives in and scores a takedown into Havel's guard. Brown trying to control the position from guard on top but Havel is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brown loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Brown missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Brown controls from within his opponent's guard. This has been an exciting period of action! We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Micheal Havel wasn't doing enough on the ground. Brown takes one to the chin there. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Havel lands a nice looking body shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Havel scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Havel decides to return to a standing position. Brown circles away from the clinch attempt.
Havel dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Havel will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Brown misses with a takedown attempt - Havel sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Brown gets caught napping as Havel dives in and scores a takedown. Brown manages to retain guard. Havel showing good wrestling skills to control the position. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
We're going to have a standup here because Micheal Havel wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Havel tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Brown manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Havel clobbers Brown with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Havel lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Havel moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Micheal Havel is winning the standup battle so far. Brown takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Havel looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Havel is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Havel shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Brown as he jumps to the side. Brown uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Havel.
Brown goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
It looks like Micheal Havel has been cut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Havel stuns Brown with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Havel shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Brown but Brown pushes him off and we're back to square one. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Micheal Havel. That's going to take a lot out of him. Havel fails with a takedown attempt. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Brown throws a series of punches but Havel avoids them all with ease. Havel clinches. Havel tries a body shot but Brown blocks it.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Brown changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Havel fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Havel moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Havel shoots in for a double leg but Brown sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Havel misses the shot to the body. Havel is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Havel swinging wildly here.
Brown shoots in looking for a takedown but Havel manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Brown's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Havel shoots for a takedown but Brown saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Havel wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Havel clinches. A short left from Havel. Brown is trying to break free. Havel manages to break the clinch.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Brown throws a right and a left that both miss. Brown takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A decent looking cross lands there for Havel. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Micheal Havel dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Micheal Havel's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Havel closes the distance and clinches. Havel taking a breather. Havel throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Brown is trying to break free. Havel wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Havel. Brown jumps guard but Havel stands there with Brown around his waist. Brown gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Havel prevents a takedown attempt there.
Brown takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Brown manages to break the clinch.
A decent looking cross lands there for Havel.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brown tries to move into range but Havel moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Havel tries to clinch but Brown is having none of it. Brown throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Havel cracks Brown with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Brown on the wrong end of a nice hook. Brown will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Micheal Havel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mark Brown. Brown keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Havel misses with an uppercut. Brown saw that one coming. Brown walks into a straight right hand from Havel. Havel fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Nice straight punches there by Havel. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Havel.
Brown is rocked! Brown takes one on the button. Brown is still on wobbly legs! Can Havel finish him? Havel Rushes Brown and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Brown is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Havel Piles on the pressure and Brown crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Micheal Havel!
