Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mike Austin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pelmen Mochotin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Austin connects with a crisp jab.
Austin uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Austin misses with a low kick.
Mochotin takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Mochotin avoids a kick to the body.
Austin connects with a leg kick. Mochotin looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Mochotin shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Austin but Austin pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Mochotin chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Austin can pounce on him.
Mochotin takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Austin scores with a head kick. Mochotin tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Austin drives through and clinches with Mochotin against the cage.

Still in the clinch, Austin scores with a nice short uppercut.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Austin .
Mochotin has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Austin is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Mochotin is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Austin pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Mike Austin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pelmen Mochotin.

Still in the clinch, Austin scores with a nice short uppercut.

Austin escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Crunch! Austin slams his shin into Mochotin's torso.

Austin tries to score with a low kick but Mochotin moves his leg out of the way.

Austin misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Austin closes the distance and pushes Mochotin back into the cage.
Mochotin drops down looking for an ankle pick but Austin pulls his leg out and moves away.
Austin throws a low kick but Mochotin moves out of range easily.
Austin lands a nice shot that snaps Mochotin's head back.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Mochotin decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Mochotin is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Austin is just riding it out for now. Mochotin eventually gives up the hold.

Mochotin is trying to work for a kimura but Austin is defending well.

Mochotin is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Mochotin winds up and cracks Austin with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mochotin moves into full mount! Austin won't be happy about that!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mochotin pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

It looks like Mike Austin has been cut.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Mochotin takes one on the button.
Austin with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Austin takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Mochotin shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Austin manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Mochotin is working for a kimura but Austin is defending it quite comfortably.
Mochotin wants to lay and pray for a moment but Austin keeps working.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mochotin seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
