The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dynamite gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Martinez.

It looks like Johnny Dynamite has been cut.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Martinez.
Martinez fails to land the takedown.
Fernando Martinez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dynamite fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Martinez sprawls well initially but Dynamite persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Martinez moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Martinez is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Dynamite won't allow Martinez to get back to his feet.

Martinez decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Dynamite throws a head kick but Martinez moves out of range.

and Dynamite decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Martinez's guard.

Martinez is looking to stand up but Dynamite isn't so interested in that idea.

Martinez decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
