Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Donald Leads (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Optimus Prime (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Prime has chosen Metalingus by Alter Bridge as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prime misses with a double jab
and Prime takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Prime showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Leads.
Leads works Prime's body with a nice hook.
Prime rushes Leads and presses him up against the cage.
Prime drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Prime is working for takedown but Leads is calmly controlling the position for now.
Leads slows down the pace here.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Prime drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Leads gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Donald Leads has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Optimus Prime.

Leads gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Prime.
Prime can't get the takedown.
Prime turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Leads wants to get back to his feet but Prime drags him back down.
You can see the frustration on Leads's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Prime prevents Leads from escaping the position.
Leads manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Leads wants to control but Prime is keeping him busy.

Prime is looking to improve his position.
Prime is refusing to be controlled, as Leads sits in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We're going to have a standup here because Donald Leads wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Prime gets the takedown into side control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Leads tries to escape but Prime is in control.
Leads on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Leads tries to get out of the position.
Prime in side control lands a decent elbow.
Prime looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Leads takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Prime trying to control the action but Leads is working from the bottom.
Prime tries to score with some ground and pound. Leads controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
The ground and pound from Prime seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Prime taking a breather here.
Leads pushes Prime away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Prime gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Prime throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
Prime in side control, throwing shots but Leads defends.
Prime trying to control the action but Leads is working from the bottom.

Leads wants to control but Prime postures up.
Leads knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Prime on the ground.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Optimus Prime has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Leads falls off balance throwing a combination
and Prime counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Leads connects with a single shot there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Optimus Prime dominated that round.

Leads lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Leads misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Prime counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Leads scores with a jab.
No joy there for Leads, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Leads scores with a punch to the head.
Leads throws a right and a left that Prime avoids nicely.
Prime takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Leads connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Prime momentarily.
Leads scores with a hook to the body. Prime takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Prime scores with a jab to the head.
Leads swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Prime's jab looks to have found its range, popping Leads under the eye.
Leads throws a left and a right that both miss
and Prime connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Nice defenses there by Prime.
Leads fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Prime on the side of the head.
Leads swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Prime counters with a stiff right hand.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Leads connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Leads scores with a decent looking hook.
Donald Leads is winning the standup battle so far.
Leads lands a left and a right that send Prime crashing to the mat, dazed. Leads thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Prime is rocked!
Prime glances at the clock... BAM! Leads nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Prime crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Prime is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Donald Leads!
