Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Barry Sandoval (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Don Knotts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Don Knotts is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Barry Sandoval!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Don Knotts!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Jonathan Paton and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sandoval checks a leg kick.
Knotts avoids the body shot from Sandoval.

Knotts tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sandoval was well out of range. Poor timing from Knotts.
Sandoval throws an off balance right hand
and Knotts counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Sandoval tries to land a front kick but Knotts steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Knotts shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Sandoval defends it nicely.

No joy there for Knotts, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Knotts throws out a loose jab but Sandoval uses good head movement to avoid it.

Sandoval throws a low kick, looking for Knotts's leg but Knotts calmly moves out of range.

Knotts is working an open guard so Sandoval takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Knotts lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Sandoval has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Sandoval and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Knotts throws a leg kick which misses Sandoval's front leg but catches the back leg as Sandoval tries to avoid it.
Knotts shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sandoval as he avoids it easily.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sandoval takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Knotts walks into a stiff left hand from Sandoval.
Sandoval throws a series of punches but Knotts avoids them all with ease.
The fighters circle momentarily. Sandoval darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Sandoval fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Knotts manages to avoid it.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sandoval ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Sandoval jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.


That has opened up Don Knotts's cut even more.
Knotts moves forwards but Sandoval connects with a nice, crisp jab.

And that's the end of the fight!
Barry Sandoval showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Sandoval has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
