Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Krzysztof Nowak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karl Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Karl Anderson is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Krzysztof Nowak!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Karl Anderson!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Glass and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Nowak or perhaps it was just good defense by Anderson which made him look bad.
Nowak fails to land the takedown.
Nowak misses with a wild combination.
Anderson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Nowak, pushing him back against the cage.
Nowak wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Anderson has him pressed against the cage.
Nowak jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Anderson walks away with a smile on his face. Nowak gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Krzysztof Nowak. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nowak misses with a head kick.
Nowak misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Anderson gets the takedown into side control.
Anderson in side control, just content to control the action for now.

Anderson misses with the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Anderson takes a little break here. Nowak wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Nowak is trying to control Anderson's posture but Anderson avoids it.
Anderson postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Anderson is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Nowak knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Anderson on the ground.
Anderson stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Anderson shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Nowak leaves Anderson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Anderson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Nowak sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Anderson shoots in but no luck this time.
Nowak swinging wildly here.
Anderson rushes Nowak and presses him up against the cage.

Anderson can't get the takedown.
Nowak is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Anderson pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Anderson lands a nice elbow.
It looks like Krzysztof Nowak has been cut.
Anderson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Nowak looks to land a right hand but Anderson moved out of range.
Anderson looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Nowak!
Nowak is working to get back to half guard.
Nowak is breathing heavily.
Nowak tries to hold on but Anderson pushes him away.
Nowak is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Nowak in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Anderson lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Anderson content just to control the position here.
Anderson working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Nowak looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Anderson! Submission of the night perhaps?
