The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Hugh Johnson and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall shoots in but no luck this time.
Horrible takedown by Hall or perhaps it was just good defense by Mitchell which made him look bad.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Hall enables Mitchell to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Hall manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Mitchell wants to control from the top but Hall keeps moving.
Mitchell is looking to work some ground and pound but Hall has wrist control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hall can't keep his opponent in guard - Mitchell advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Mitchell is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Hall defends it well.
Mitchell is working for a submission of some sort.
Mitchell in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Hall tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Mitchell!
