Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Will Ferrell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Nash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Steve Nash enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Will Ferrell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Steve Nash! The judges for this bout are , and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nash changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ferrell tries to avoid it but Nash manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ferrell to the ground. Ferrell escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Ferrell wants to clinch up but Nash keeps it at a distance. Ferrell shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Nash as he jumps to the side. Nash decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Nash is working for a kimura but Ferrell is defending it quite comfortably.
Ferrell on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Ferrell tries to get out of the position. Nash wants to stand up but Ferrell is controlling the position.
Nash seems to be working for a kimura but Ferrell defends the submission attempt. Nash wants to control but Ferrell is keeping him busy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nash thows a huge punch but Ferrell dodges it nicely.
Nash is trying to control. Ferrell wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ferrell trying to control but Nash postures up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Nash is working for a kimura but Ferrell is defending it quite comfortably.
Nash is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ferrell is just riding it out for now. Nash eventually gives up the hold. Nash tries to stand but his arm is trapped. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nash wants to control but Ferrell is keeping him busy. Ferrell is defending against the submission attempts here by Nash.
Ferrell is staying active underneath Nash, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Ferrell makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nash tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ferrell sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Nash somewhat. Horrible takedown by Nash or perhaps it was just good defense by Ferrell which made him look bad. Will Ferrell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steve Nash. Ferrell closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Nash to the mat! Nash manages to get full guard. Nash uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Nash changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ferrell tries to avoid it but Nash manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ferrell to the ground. Ferrell escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Ferrell has a takedown stuffed. Ferrell is breathing heavily. Ferrell closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ferrell stalls. Ferrell drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Nash gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Nash gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Ferrell.
Ferrell will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Nash up against the cage. Nash pulls Ferrell into guard.
Nash pushes Ferrell off and gets back to his feet.
Nash throws a sloppy head kick and Ferrell moves out of range easily. Ferrell stuffs the takedown attempt from Nash. Nash gets slowly back to his feet. A bone on bone clash there as Nash blocks the leg kick.
That's six minutes gone in the round. Nash closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Ferrell parries the strikes from Nash easily there. Nash is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Ferrell to escape.
Ferrell knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Nash on the ground. Nash trying to control the action but Ferrell is working from the bottom. Nash is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Ferrell has escaped the position, nice work there. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Nash goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Ferrell has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Nash but great work by Ferrell.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Nash is trying to get back to half guard. Ferrell working away. Ferrell in side control, throwing shots but Nash defends. Nash is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
That's eight minutes gone in the round. Nash is not content to let Ferrell control the position. Nash manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Nash is looking to take a break and control but Ferrell is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Nash in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Ferrell tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Nash!
