The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nassoon doesn't manage to clinch there - Valtonen circles away.
Nassoon looks to land a combination but Valtonen avoids it well.
Valtonen defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Nassoon.
Nassoon tries to clinch up but Valtonen circles away and keeps his distance.
Valtonen shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Nassoon sprawls well. Nassoon wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Valtonen gets slowly back to his feet.
Nassoon fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Valtonen throws a combination. Nassoon tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Nassoon looks gassed!
Nassoon dodges the punch combination from Valtonen.
Nassoon defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Valtonen.
Valtonen bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Valtonen advances nicely into full mount.
Nassoon has given up his back.
Nassoon is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
