Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gaius Baltar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alfredo Casparone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Baltar comes to the cage accompanied by Even Flow. The crowd seem to be enjoying Casparone's choice of entrance music: Smack my bitch up. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baltar shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Casparone as he jumps to the side.
Casparone throws a series of punches but Baltar avoids them all with ease.

Baltar throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Casparone's waist but Casparone gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Baltar off to one side.

and Casparone counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Baltar working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Casparone doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Casparone manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Baltar has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Casparone can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Baltar pushes a forearm under Casparone's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Casparone is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
