Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between General Zod (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rob Zombie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zod comes to the cage accompanied by Kneel Before Zod. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, General Zod! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rob Zombie! The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zod avoids the head kick by Zombie.
Zombie throws a right hand that Zod ducks under and follows up with a left that Zod also avoids with ease. Zombie throws a head kick but Zod moves out of range.
Zod shoots for a double leg takedown but Zombie sprawls well. He's pushed Zod's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. No luck for Zod with that takedown attempt. Zombie scores a takedown into full mount! Zombie blocks Zod's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Zombie throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Zombie throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Zod is looking to improve his position but Zombie isn't that keen on the idea. Zod manages to regain half guard. Good work. Zombie throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Zod is trying to get back to full guard. Zombie sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Zod defending well though. Zod trying to control from the bottom.
Zombie wants to control but Zod is keeping him busy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zod is looking to control Zombie's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Zod avoid being mounted? Zombie throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Zombie looks gassed! Zod is trying to get back to full guard.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Zombie throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Zod closes the distance and clinches up with Zombie, looking for a takedown. Zod pushes Zombie against the cage but Zombie circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for General Zod. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nice takedown defense from Zombie. No joy for Zod on that attempt. Zombie fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Zombie tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Zod looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Zod is looking for a kimura but Zombie is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Zod to get the leverage. Zod is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Zod works his foot free and advances to mount. Zod landing shots from mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Zod content just to control the position here. Zod has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Zombie working to try and regain half guard.
Zod wants to finish this one by submission but Zombie is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Zod. Zombie working to try and regain half guard.
Zombie punching to the body and holding on for dear life. Zombie is working to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Zombie is trying to reverse the position but instead Zod has taken his back - oops!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Will Zod go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
Zod is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Zombie rolls, trying to escape but Zod keeps control of the position.
Zod lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Zod.
Zombie looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Zombie defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Zod's arms. Zombie tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Zombie really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Zod landing strikes from the mount. Zombie is in all sorts of trouble here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Zod jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Zombie manages to avoid the submission attempt. Zod is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Zombie has escaped the position, nice work there. Zombie manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Zombie blocks the strikes from Zod.
Zombie should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Zombie wants to lay and pray for a moment but Zod keeps working. Zombie lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Zod won't allow Zombie to pass to mount. Zombie is thwarting Zod's attempts to control the position. Zod avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Zombie. Zombie lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
General Zod dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Rob Zombie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Zod doesn't succeed with the takedown and Zombie counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for General Zod. That's going to take a lot out of him. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Zombie escapes and gets back to his feet. Zombie looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Zod tries for a takedown but Zombie circles away easily and Zombie counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Zod's guard now. Zombie is working Zod over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Zombie must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Zod throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Zombie trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Zod will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Zombie is sitting in close to Zod's body. Zod has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Zombie is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Zombie is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Zod.
