The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Ackerman and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sparazzo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Opal swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Opal moves into the clinch.

Sparazzo looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Sparazzo tightens his grip and picks Opal up, before dumping him to the ground. Opal manages to land in guard.

Sparazzo throws and elbow that misses. Opal uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Sparazzo's guard. Nice move by Opal!

Opal shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Sparazzo's guard.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Sparazzo throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Opal sees it coming and avoids it easily.
