Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lambert shoots in for a double leg but Prunea sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Lambert misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Prunea.
Prunea changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lambert tries to avoid it but Prunea manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lambert to the ground. Lambert escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Prunea dives in and grabs Lambert's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lambert pushes down on Prunea's head and hops out.
Prunea ducks under a wild hook from Lambert.
Prunea throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Prunea tries to pull guard but Lambert won't allow it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Maimuta Prunea. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Lambert's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Lambert scores with a three punch combo!
Prunea throws a right and a left that both miss.
No luck for Prunea with that takedown attempt.

Prunea has taken the fight to the clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Lambert is trying to trip Prunea. He has hold of a leg but Prunea is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Lambert persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lambert tries to stand but Prunea is controlling from the bottom.
Lambert loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Prunea has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Lambert doesn't defend quickly enough and Prunea has managed to lock this one up! Can Lambert escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Prunea on a fantastic submission victory.
