Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between David Stack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenjiro Tanaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tanaka has chosen Seek and Destroy as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yukihiro Shimada and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tanaka misses with a hook
and Stack connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
No joy there for Stack, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Stack ducks under a wild hook from Tanaka.
A shot to the liver by Stack. Beautiful body shot.
A punch combination from Stack misses.
Tanaka throws a right hand that misses
and Stack counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Tanaka thinking.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Donk. Stack catches Tanaka right on the button with a cross.
A jab from Tanaka misses.
Tanaka takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
It looks like Kenjiro Tanaka has been cut.
Stack lands with a shot to the body.
Tanaka misses with an uppercut
and Stack counters with a crisp one two that drops Tanaka! Stack thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Tanaka to his feet! Tanaka is in big trouble!
Tanaka is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tanaka glances at the clock... BAM! Stack nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Tanaka crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Tanaka is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). David Stack!
