Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wing Zero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Giggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wing Zero!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Ryan Giggs!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Steven Brown and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zero takes a swing at Giggs's ribcage but misses.
Giggs tries to score a power double leg takedown but Zero sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Giggs somewhat.
Giggs misses with a double jab.
Horrible takedown by Giggs or perhaps it was just good defense by Zero which made him look bad.
Zero gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Zero pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Giggs misses with a head kick.
Giggs slaps away a takedown attempt from Zero, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Giggs lands with a thumping leg kick.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Zero.
Zero closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Giggs is looking to break free of the clinch but Zero has double underhooks.
Zero's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Zero throws a body punch but Giggs moves out of range.
Giggs rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Zero moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A head kick misses from Giggs.
Zero throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Zero walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Giggs shoots and misses
and Zero counters by clinching up.
Wing Zero has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryan Giggs.
Giggs tries to work over Zero's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Giggs tries to circle away but Zero has him pinned against the cage.
Giggs escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Giggs has his takedown stuffed
and Zero counters with a single leg into guard. Giggs didn't expect that.
Giggs looks gassed!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Zero prevents Giggs from getting back to his feet.

Wing Zero has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Zero misses the shot to the body.
Giggs misses with a few strikes there.
Zero tries to clinch up.

A looping hook to the body misses from Zero. Giggs does a little dance to reset his feet.
Zero rushes Giggs and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Giggs tries to break the clinch but Zero is controlling the position.
Giggs is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Zero breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Giggs uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Zero.
Zero fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Giggs manages to avoid it.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Giggs shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Zero but Zero pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Zero misses with a wild body shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Zero fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Giggs manages to avoid it.

Giggs wants to stand but Zero is controlling the position.
Zero slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

We're going to have a standup here because Wing Zero wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Giggs takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Giggs shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Zero as he avoids it easily.

and Zero counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Zero shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Giggs napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Giggs seems a little lost for a moment, as Zero dominates the positioning.

Well Zero has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
