Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Richard Stevens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Philadelphia Roll (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stevens comes to the cage accompanied by Total immortal. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Richard Stevens!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Philadelphia Roll!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roll throws a quick inside leg kick.
Horrible takedown by Stevens or perhaps it was just good defense by Roll which made him look bad.
Roll fails in his attempt to clinch.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Stevens.
Roll is trying to buck Stevens off.
Roll avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Stevens.
Roll really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Stevens. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Roll is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Stevens has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Stevens cracks Roll with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Stevens clinches up with Roll and pushes him back against the cage.
Stevens is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Roll can't fight it off and eventually Stevens manages to take the fight to the floor. Roll looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Roll is looking to stand up but Stevens isn't so interested in that idea.
Stevens stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Roll swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Roll wants to get back to his feet but Stevens is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Roll is looking to stand back up but Stevens counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Roll.
Roll looks gassed!
Stevens decides to stand back up. Stevens steps back and let's Roll get back to his feet.
Roll tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Stevens has Roll up against the cage in a clinch.
Stevens prevents Roll from breaking the clinch.
Stevens manages to break the clinch.
Stevens decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Stevens looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Roll with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Stevens wants to pass to mount but Roll is defending the position.
Roll pushes Stevens off looking to stand but Stevens dives back in and keeps control.
Stevens winds up and cracks Roll with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Roll is trying to stand back up but Stevens is controlling him

Stevens passes the guard and advances to mount!

Stevens looking to control but Roll is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Roll is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Stevens working for a guillotine from mount but Roll is in no mood to give up.

Roll is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Roll is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Roll wants to try and get back to his feet.

Roll takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Stevens landing punches.
You get the feeling that Roll really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Stevens lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Stevens is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Roll is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Roll flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Stevens anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Roll and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Stevens slips an arm under Roll chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Stevens has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Stevens is squeezing on Roll like an anaconda would it's prey. Roll fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Richard Stevens!
