Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thiago Silvia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nicol Bolas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Chris Downing and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bolas tries to clinch but Silvia is having none of it.

Silvia closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Silvia drops an elbow to the side of Bolas's head.
Silvia looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bolas with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Silvia cracks Bolas with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Thiago Silvia dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
