Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aj Styles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bret Hatton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Styles comes to the cage accompanied by I Am by Dale Oliver. Hatton has chosen Bret Hart theme as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 11 - 1, fighting out of New York, Aj Styles! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Bret Hatton! The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Jorge Garcia and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Styles stalks Hatton and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Hatton's face. Hatton staggers backwards, shaken. Styles tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Hatton shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Styles defends it nicely. Styles throws a sloppy head kick and Hatton moves out of range easily. Hatton fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Hatton is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Styles's half guard. Hatton trying to pass the guard but Styles defending well. Styles is trying to stand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Styles trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Hatton not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Hatton wants to free his trapped foot but Styles is holding on for dear life with his legs. Styles wants to get back to his feet.
Hatton is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Hatton is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Hatton is trying to work for a kimura but Styles is defending well.
Styles makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Nice sprawl there from Styles as Hatton shoots in. Aj Styles has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bret Hatton. Styles gets caught flat footed, as Hatton shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Styles uses the cage to get back to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! No luck with that takedown attempt from Hatton.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hatton shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Styles sprawls well. Styles wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hatton gets slowly back to his feet. Hatton with a poor takedown and Styles counters by clinching up. Hatton drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Styles gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Styles tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Styles misses with a punch on the inside.
Styles tries to work over Hatton's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Styles swings away with an uppercut that misses.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Styles. Styles throws a head punch that misses. Styles stops a takedown attempt from Hatton.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Styles prevents a takedown attempt there.
Hatton jumps guard and drags Styles to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Hatton can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Styles controls the pace. Hatton escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Styles gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Styles tries to free his leg and advance position but Hatton is retaining full guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hatton is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Styles controls the pace of the fight for a moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Aj Styles will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
Hatton looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Hatton wants to control from the top but Styles keeps moving. Styles controlling the position. Hatton throwing strikes but missing. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Styles keeping moving, preventing Hatton from controlling successfully. Styles keeping full guard, as Hatton tries to pass.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hatton works over Styles with some ground and pound from guard. Hatton looking to pass the guard. Hatton working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Hatton postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Styles controlling the position. Hatton trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Hatton won't allow Styles to sweep him here. Hatton throwing strikes from guard but Styles blocks nicely. Hatton throwing strikes but missing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hatton wants to control from the top but Styles keeps moving. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Styles is on top in guard.
Styles pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hatton is keeping the position for now. Styles wants to get up but he can't break Hatton's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Hatton is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hatton manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Styles manages to get himself to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Styles avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Hatton has gone for a leg lock! Styles slips out almost immediately though and dives into Hatton's guard. Hatton looking for a guillotine here but Styles defends easily.
Hatton looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Styles has picked Hatton up and slammed him! Hatton can't keep hold of the triangle and Styles manages to pass to side control!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hatton tries to improve position but can't. Hatton regains half guard. Hatton is trying to get back to full guard. Hatton landing small, sideways elbows. Styles wants to stand up but Hatton has a hold of him and won't allow it. Hatton tries to roll over but Styles keeps him under control. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hatton looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bret Hatton showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Nice takedown defense from Styles. No joy for Hatton on that attempt. Styles tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hatton paws at him with a jab and circles away. Styles tries to clinch and Hatton counters with a nice double leg into side control. Styles won't be happy with that. Styles gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Styles is looking for a sweep. Hatton is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Hatton thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Styles to regain full guard. Styles wants to stand up but Hatton is controlling him. Hatton looking to pass the guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hatton trying to control the position from guard on top but Styles is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bret Hatton has got the better of the ground game so far. Styles is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Hatton is controlling him.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Bret Hatton was stalling too much, according to the referee. Styles misses with a head kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hatton will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Hatton misses with a takedown and Styles counters with a lovely straight right hand! Aj Styles has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bret Hatton. That's three minutes gone in the round. Hatton is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Styles softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Styles misses with a body punch.
Hatton's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Styles tries to work over Hatton's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Hatton is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Styles gets underhooks to prevent Hatton's takedown attempt.
Hatton blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Hatton has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Styles avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Styles misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Hatton.
Styles tries to throw a body punch but Hatton avoids it by throwing Styles back against the cage. A left hand lands to the body for Styles.
Styles misses with a knee to the head. Styles throws a punch but it's blocked by Hatton. Styles is pressed up against the cage. Hatton has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Styles down to the mat. Styles avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Styles misses the shot to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hatton fails with the takedown and Styles counters with a stiff right hand. Styles tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hatton swats him away and circles back towards the center. Styles tries to close the distance and clinch but Hatton swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hatton is defended easily by Styles. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Styles moves in looking to clinch but Hatton pushes him off. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Styles moves out of range as Hatton throws a body kick.
Hatton doesn't succeed with the takedown and Styles counters with a straight right hand.
