Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nate Stonefield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lasse Kongo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stonefield lands a really nice looking cross but Kongo seems unphased.

It looks like Lasse Kongo has been cut.
Stonefield throws a series of punches but Kongo moves out of range.
Stonefield throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Kongo moves out of range of the strikes.
Kongo looks to score with a jab to the body but Stonefield is just out of range.

A big head kick from Kongo and Stonefield is sent sprawling to the canvas!

It looks like Nate Stonefield has been cut.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Stonefield can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kongo controls the pace.
Kongo has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Stonefield is proving hard to escape from.

Stonefield kicks Kongo off and gets to his feet.
Kongo slips a jab and a cross from Stonefield.
Stonefield tries to clinch but Kongo is having none of it.
Kongo takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Stonefield takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Kongo blocks a head kick by Stonefield.
Kongo walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Stonefield checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Kongo lands a slapping body shot.
Stonefield lands a jab to the head.
Stonefield will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Stonefield jabs at Kongo's body.
A swing and a miss from Stonefield.

Kongo takes the fight into the clinch.
Kongo lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Stonefield is trying to push Kongo away but Kongo has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
A frustrated look appears on Stonefield's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Kongo digs a right hand underneath Stonefield's ribcage. Stonefield let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Stonefield looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Kongo lands with a right to the head.
Kongo stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Kongo lands a right hand that snaps the head of Stonefield backwards.

Stonefield misses with a series of wild punches.
Kongo thumps Stonefield with a low kick.
Stonefield is breathing heavily.
Stonefield takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Oh, that's a big right hand from Kongo and Stonefield goes tumbling to the canvas! Kongo follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.
Oh Stonefield is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Stonefield wants to get back to his feet.
Kongo tries to pass the half guard into mount. Stonefield knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Lasse Kongo has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Stonefield misses with a jab, cross combination.

Stonefield has Kongo up against the cage in a clinch.
Stonefield wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Kongo pushes Stonefield back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Kongo lands a left hand.
Kongo content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Kongo throws a low kick but it's checked well by Stonefield.

Kongo goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Stonefield swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Sloppy strikes from Stonefield. Those never looked like landing.

Nate Stonefield seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kongo is looking to slow Stonefield down with leg kicks.
Kongo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kongo darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Kongo dodges the punch combination from Stonefield.
The fighters circle, before Kongo throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Stonefield's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Kongo lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
